1197nm Laser CL1197-100W-LPI001
The 1197nm laser is used for laser photoacoustic imaging. Photoacoustic Imaging (PAI) is a recently developed noninvasive, nonionizing biomedical imaging method. When pulsed laser light irradiates biological tissue, optical absorption regions generate ultrasound signals carrying information about the tissue's optical absorption. Detecting these photoacoustic signals allows reconstruction of the optical absorption distribution. This method can exceed the soft depth limit of high-resolution optical imaging (~1 mm) and image living tissue at depths of 50 mm.
