Pump Protector
The pump protector is designed to prevent ASE back-reflected light from damaging pump lasers. It provides pump protectors with different power levels for wavelengths ranging from 800 to 2000nm.

These lasers pump erbium-doped fiber amplifiers (EDFA). The fiber-coupling process provides high output power with excellent time and temperature stability while substantially reducing TEC and total power consumption. A fiber Bragg grating improves wavelength and power stability and maintains wavelength locking despite drive-current, temperature and optical-feedback changes. Output power reaches 600 milliwatts.
