The photodetector with fiber tail fiber input,the maximum rate of up to 11Gbps,built-in trans impedance amplifier,can be used for digital optical fiber communication,RF SMA mother port;Nortel detector business was acquired by Bookham,then changed to Oclaro,so there are 3 brand labels,but the model is unchanged. The PP-10G module consists of a low capacitance photo-detector and a low noise GaAs trans-impedance amplifier in an hermetic package with a connectorized single-mode fiber pigtail and a 50 ohms SMA electrical output.

The 200MHz Analog Photodetector Module is designed to provide directical-to-electrical conversion of RF-modulated optical signals. The optical input is supplied through an angle-polished, low-reflection, single-mode 9/125μm fiber pigtail.The detector element itself is a GaInAs PIN photodiode which is designed to operate in both 1300 and 1550nm wavelength regions.

The semiconductor photomultiplier detector module uses Geiger-mode semiconductor photomultipliers to detect single photons and perform room-temperature photon-number resolution and counting. Components include a multipixel photon counter, high-speed amplification, high-voltage circuitry and signal readout. The counter provides excellent room-temperature number resolution, a broad photon-flux dynamic range and nanosecond response. Applications include fluorescence, nuclear-radiation detection, astronomy, biomedicine, laser ranging and quantum information, particularly short-pulse weak-light detection and photon-number resolution.
