Overview

The CWDM 12-wavelength semi-active fronthaul central-office board improves fiber utilization. Deployed at the DU central office, it provides CWDM 1:12 single-fiber bidirectional multiplexing, monitors branch optical power in both upstream and downstream directions, and provides 1+1 protection of primary and backup fiber routes between the DU and AAU. It supports monitored, manageable and deployment-friendly 5G fronthaul.
