LBO Crystal
LBO is lithium triborate, LiB3O5. Its high damage threshold, large acceptance angle, good thermal stability and broad transmission make it suitable for frequency doubling in high-power lasers. Transmission covers 160-2600nm. Type I noncritical phase matching supports 1000-1300nm under temperature control; Type II noncritical phase matching supports 800-1100nm at room temperature.
