Laser welding - Output head
The laser and oscillating-welding-head system provides high-performance welding of battery housings and key components. Active beam oscillation controls melt-pool flow to improve weld consistency and airtightness. Applications include circumferential welding of cylindrical-cell caps, deep-penetration sealing of sealing pins, precise joining of current collectors and long-seam welding of prismatic-cell housings. For special requirements such as through-housing welding, oscillation increases weld width and strength. High welding speed, low defect rates and a broad process window improve power-battery welding reliability and productivity.
