FIS-5030 Fully Automatic Vision-Guided Parallel Seam Welder
This equipment performs hermetic seam sealing of large packages such as rectangular devices, optoelectronic devices and flat metal housings. Trays containing packages enter an upstream automatic oven for trace-moisture removal and then transfer automatically to the working platform. A robot moves the tray to the tack-weld position. Covers loaded into an upstream magazine undergo moisture removal and enter the welding chamber through a feed track. A pickup nozzle places each cover in a positioning mechanism, then a tack-weld nozzle moves it beneath a CCD for recognition and alignment. A housing CCD simultaneously images the package; vision algorithms adjust position and angle so cover and base align fully before tack welding. A rolling seam-welding system welds the X edges, then transfers the package to a high-vacuum chamber for evacuation and special-gas backfilling to process requirements. Y-edge seam welding follows, then the package transfers automatically to the collection chamber.
