AWS-2889 Automatic Capacitive-Discharge Seal Welder AWS-2889V
This equipment welds TO bases and caps for optoelectronic communications and sensors in a sealed nitrogen glovebox. An automatic tray handler moves base/cap trays into position; separate robots simultaneously pick and load them between upper/lower electrodes. Pressure and current complete welding, followed by automatic transfer to finished-product storage. Vision and mechanical positioning switch freely to improve utilization. A proprietary capacitive energy-storage supply provides precise, consistently high-quality packaging.
