ATS-1838 Automatic Transistor Seal Welder
This equipment welds small TO bases and caps, such as TO18, TO25 and TO38, for fiber communications and sensors in a sealed nitrogen glovebox. A tray handler automatically moves base and cap trays into position. Separate robots simultaneously remove bases and caps and load them between upper/lower electrodes. Pressure and current complete welding. Finished products are automatically returned to trays and moved to the finished-product store.
