Magnesium fluoride (MgF2) window (WIN5-502)
MgF₂ (magnesium fluoride) windows are optical components made of magnesium fluoride, which is known for its broad transmission range of 120~7000nm; this broad transmission range allows light transmission from the ultraviolet to the infrared spectrum. At a wavelength of 7000nm, magnesium fluoride has a refractive index of 1.376, which gives it unique optical properties.
