Lightel's DI-1000 digital video microscope now offers a wireless option for inspecting fiber optic connectors - DI-1000-WIFI! Connecting the WiFi unit to the DI-1000 probe converts the probe's USB video output into a wireless signal, enabling users to view live images of the fiber endface on a smartphone, tablet, or PC. Lightel provides free applications for a variety of devices and operating systems so that users can view or capture/save/retrieve connector endface images. These applications can be downloaded from the Google Play Store (Android), Apple Store (iOS), or the Lightel website (Windows). The DI-1000-WIFI can also work with Lightel's ConnectorView Plus Pass/Fail analysis software on a Windows® tablet. ConnectorView Plus uses IEC 61300-3-35 as the default standard for analysis, and can also create user-defined Pass/Fail standards.

The DI-1000L-PRO combines the all-digital wide-view DI-1000L microscope with our ConnectorView™ Plus v2 pass/fail software for fast, objective analysis of fiber optic connector endfaces. Through a direct USB2.0 connection to a PC, the DI-1000L-Pro can provide you with automatically consolidated analysis reports and summary reports in Excel or text format. The DI-1000 uses series 2 inspection tips and can also use all of our CI-1000 tips and optional adapters.

The DI-1000MPO+ has the same functions and uses the same single-fiber tips and accessories as the popular DI-1000, but adds additional X and Y direction scanning knobs. This allows users to manually scan in the X and Y directions with one hand, providing unprecedented control and improving the efficiency of inspecting MTP®/MPO connector endfaces. Inspecting one to four rows (12 to 48 fibers) of MTP/MPO connectors does not require additional MTP/MPO tips. The scanning knobs also provide further flexibility when inspecting single-fiber connectors. The included single-fiber adapter allows you to use any Lightel Series 2 tip with the DI-1000MPO+ and quickly adjust the image position.

ViewConn® Pro (VC-8200) is an integrated system for fiber optic connector inspection, evaluation, archiving, and cleaning. The integrated power meter is also available as a customer-installable add-on. With built-in Wi-Fi functionality, ViewConn Pro can email its pass/fail analysis reports to other locations or store them directly within the device. Lightel's original dual-microscope concept allows rapid inspection of male and female connectors without changing the tip.
