Fiber Optic Splice Closure
An optical cable splice closure is a splice protection device that provides continuity of optical, sealing, and mechanical strength between two or more optical cables; it is mainly used for straight-through and branch connections of optical cables of various structures in overhead, conduit, and direct-buried laying methods. The box body uses reinforced plastic, with high strength, corrosion resistance, mature structure, reliable sealing, and convenient construction. Features: Application scenario (IP protection): conduit (IP68 and above), aerial suspended cable (IP55 and above); splice capacity: 12-288, bundle (single fiber) / ribbon (4-fiber ribbon, 6-fiber ribbon, 12-fiber ribbon); number of cable inlet/outlet ports: 1 oval port + 2/4/6/8 branch round ports; sealing method: heat shrink / mechanical sealing; box material: generally PP+GF, ABS, PC+ABS
