TGG
TGG (terbium gallium garnet) single crystal is the best magneto-optical material for making Faraday rotators and isolators, applicable wavelengths 400-1100 nm (excluding 470-500 nm). It features a large magneto-optical constant (35 Rad T^-1m^-1), low optical loss, high thermal conductivity (7.4 W m-1K^-1) and a high laser damage threshold (>1 GW/cm^2).
