KDP & DKDP Nonlinear Crystals
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KDP) and potassium dideuterium phosphate (DKDP) are among the most widely used commercial nonlinear optical materials, with good UV transmittance, high damage threshold and high birefringence. They are also excellent electro-optic crystals with high electro-optic coefficients. Their surfaces are relatively susceptible to moisture; storage in dry, sealed conditions is recommended.
