BBO Nonlinear Crystal
BBO (β-barium borate, β-BaB2O4) is a nonlinear optical crystal with wide transparency and phase-matching range, large nonlinear coefficient, high damage threshold and excellent optical homogeneity. Transparency range 189-3500nm, second harmonic generation (SHG) range 410-2400nm. It is the best nonlinear optical crystal for fifth harmonic generation at 213nm.
