Dove prism
A Dove prism is an image rotator. After light passes through this prism, the image is inverted by 180°. In addition, depending on the prism rotation angle and the light incident surface, a Dove prism can rotate, invert or retroreflect the image. A Dove prism can be considered as a right-angle prism with the triangular tip removed, which reduces the prism weight and internal reflection of stray light.
