Silver Film Mirror
It has relatively uniform reflectivity over a wide spectral range. Metal mirrors coated with multilayer protective coatings not only have a wide reflection band, but also high reflectivity and a high damage threshold, while preventing the metal coating from being oxidized or scratched. Protected silver-coated mirrors have lower reflection loss and a higher damage threshold than aluminum mirrors. In the visible to near-infrared spectral range, silver-coated mirrors are the metal-coated mirrors with the highest reflectivity, with an average reflectivity greater than 97% over the 450nm ~ 2um wavelength range and also above 96% over the 2um ~ 20um wavelength range.
