Aluminum Film Mirror
It has relatively uniform reflectivity over a wide spectral range. Metal mirrors coated with multilayer protective coatings not only have a wide reflection band, but also high reflectivity and a high damage threshold, while preventing the metal coating from being oxidized or scratched. Protected aluminum-coated mirrors have an average reflectivity above 90% in visible light, infrared light within 2um and UV light, and above 95% in 2um ~ 20um infrared light. Compared with silver mirrors, this enhanced aluminum mirror has a lower tendency to discolor when exposed to humid environments.
