200mW Single-mode fiber-coupled 980nm Butterfly pump laser
The 980nm pump module is deployed in many DWDM and cable-TV distribution systems. Its hermetic 14-pin butterfly package includes a TEC, thermistor and monitor photodiode. A fiber Bragg grating locks the emission wavelength, maintaining a noise-free narrowband spectrum despite temperature, drive-current and optical-feedback changes. It meets stringent telecom requirements, including Telcordia GR-468-core for hermetic 980nm pump modules.
