14PIN Butterfly package 1310nm Superluminescent diode device
Standard superluminescent diodes (SLED) are available with different output powers, bandwidths and packages, including cooled 8-pin and butterfly modules or low-cost uncooled TOSA and TO-56 packages. In addition to standard products, SLED devices can be customized for optical performance, housing or fiber. Typical applications include fiber communication, instrumentation, optical coherence tomography, structural sensors and fiber-optic gyroscopes.
