HGTR-KTP Electro-optic crystal
HGTR-KTP, or high-gray-track-resistance potassium titanyl phosphate, is a high-performance electro-optic crystal. It offers excellent nonlinear optical properties, broad temperature- and angle-matching tolerances, gray-track resistance, a high optical-damage threshold and stable chemical and mechanical properties. Its main applications are frequency doubling of neodymium lasers to generate green light and waveguides for integrated NLO and EO devices. It also serves laser frequency doubling, sum- and difference-frequency generation, parametric oscillation, optical waveguides, electro-optic modulators, electro-optic switches and pulse picking. It is widely used in military research, medicine, marine optics, laser weapons and environmental remote sensing.
