Cr,Tm,Ho:YAG
Our Cr,Tm,Ho:YAG is an efficient xenon-lamp- or diode-pumped laser crystal with good overall performance. Its wavelength is 2.1μm. Pump energy mainly comes from flashlamp energy absorbed by Cr³⁺. Ho³⁺ is the active ion, while Tm³⁺ serves as an energy-transfer intermediary. Laser light at 2.1μm is well absorbed by water, readily transmitted through the atmosphere, and eye-safe. Laser light at 2.1μm is also an ideal pump source for 3-5μm mid-infrared optical parametric oscillators. CrTmHoYAG has a broad absorption band, high slope efficiency, compatibility with flashlamp or diode pumping, good room-temperature operation, and operation in a relatively eye-safe wavelength range. It is therefore widely used in medicine, lidar, and military applications.
