LiTaO₃( Lithium tantalate )
LiTaO₃ (lithium tantalate), abbreviated LT, is an electro-optic crystal with excellent overall performance. It offers a high optical damage threshold, low birefringence, a broad transmission band, high optical transmittance, high sensitivity, a broad transparency range, a large electro-optic coefficient, resistance to deliquescence, and stable chemical and physical properties. It is widely used in optical storage, transient recording, and high-speed holographic cameras. As Li/Ta in LT crystals increases, their physical properties improve to varying degrees, helping improve the performance of functional devices. This supports applications in laser television, laser ranging, radar, infrared military countermeasures, medicine, and atmospheric environmental monitoring, with strong potential to open new application fields.
