HGTR-KTP Nonlinear crystal
HGTR-KTP (high gray-track-resistant KTP) addresses gray tracking, which appears directly as black or gray damage marks inside the crystal. HGTR-KTP nonlinear crystals substantially reduce Ti⁺³ ion-center defects within the crystal during laser frequency doubling. They offer a large nonlinear optical coefficient, high thermal conductivity, small mismatch and walk-off angle, resistance to deliquescence, and stable chemical and mechanical properties. They are widely used as frequency-doubling crystals for conversion from 1064-532 nm in low- and medium-power Nd:YAG and Nd:YVO₄ lasers. They can also be used to make frequency-doubling, frequency-mixing, electro-optic modulation, optical parametric oscillation, and optical waveguide devices.
