The cable-tapping instrument uses cable fibers for sensing and signal transmission with advanced acoustic and vibration sensing. It offers high measurement accuracy, wide dynamic range, high sensitivity, stability, real-time demodulation, electromagnetic immunity and harsh-environment capability. Laser scattering integrates online monitoring, alarms and data display. Host software analyzes spectra and records abnormal data for tapping-sound/vibration detection and fiber-route surveys.
