Customizable BIAS terminal-group counts support powered product testing. Safe, convenient remote access through a computer; multiple levels of sensitive-data protection; convenient program access, test setup and product monitoring. Test data export to Excel and transfer through USB. Available test conditions are 130℃, 85%RH and atmospheric pressure of 230KPa. HAST evaluates reliability of nonhermetic IC packages, metals and other materials in humid environments. Temperature, humidity and pressure accelerate moisture ingress through protective materials such as molding compounds or seals, or along interfaces between protective materials and conductive metals. Strict temperature, humidity, pressure and voltage conditions accelerate moisture penetration and electrochemical reactions between internal materials and metal conductors. Failure mechanisms: ionic corrosion and package sealing integrity.
