Single-Pixel Imaging Experiment System High-Specification Version
Single-pixel imaging is a new computational imaging approach. The UPOLabs experimental system encodes the target optical field with a DMD spatial light modulator, acquires it with a single-pixel detector and reconstructs the scene using classical correlation, differential correlation, compressed sensing and other algorithms. It supports university teaching and research into reconstruction algorithms. Point detectors such as PDs and PMTs replace CCD/CMOS arrays to detect transmitted or reflected intensity. Compared with traditional imaging, it offers smaller size, lower cost, sensitive response, high accuracy and high resolution, with applications in visible, infrared, terahertz and other nonvisible bands.
