Digital Holography Experiment System Enhanced Version
Building on traditional holography, this experimental system develops digital holography, computer-simulated holography and real-time optical reconstruction. Applications include digital holography teaching, computer-simulated holography, digital holography, visual digital holography, real-time traditional holography, data encryption, digital image encryption and information hiding. Holography uses optical interference to record the phase and amplitude of the wavefront emitted by an object, then uses diffraction to reconstruct that wavefront and recover object amplitude and phase. For real-time optical reconstruction, a simulated or digital hologram is loaded onto a spatial light modulator and illuminated with a reference beam. A white screen or CCD placed behind the modulator receives the reconstructed image.
