Atmospheric Turbulence Simulation Experiment System MagicHOLO-AT-80R(2)
Atmospheric turbulence is an important form of atmospheric motion affecting free-space optical communications and astronomical telescope imaging. The UPOLabs atmospheric turbulence simulation system serves high-resolution astronomical imaging, laser communications, adaptive optics and trajectory tracking. It can be expanded with adaptive-optics aberration correction to correct the beam spot after propagation through turbulence. The system helps researchers and students: 1. Understand SLM-based atmospheric turbulence simulation. 2. Understand theoretical turbulence models and phase-screen algorithms based on power-spectrum inversion. 3. Understand Gaussian-beam propagation through atmospheric turbulence.
