Dichroic Longpass Filter
The dichroic long-pass filter is made of multiple dielectric layers and metal materials. Short-wavelength light is reflected from the surface, and long-wavelength light passes through. The coating is designed to reflect 50% and transmit 50% at the cut-off wavelength. Beyond that wavelength, more light is gradually transmitted and less reflected. Different cut-off wavelengths can be designed according to application requirements.
