Erbium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Er:YAG) laser crystal, with energy level transition 4I3/2→4I11/2, laser wavelength 2940 nm, emission cross-section 3×10-20 cm2, refractive index 1.79 @ 2.940 µm, pump band 600~800 nm. Doping concentration about 50 at.%, round rods 3~6 mm in diameter and 50~120 mm in length, extinction ratio ≥25 dB, 2940 nm AR coating available.
