Microchannel Plate
A microchannel plate is a device that multiplies electrons in an avalanche manner. After each channel wall undergoes hydrogen firing reduction, a semiconductor layer with secondary electron emission characteristics forms on the surface. When input electrons strike the channel wall, secondary electrons are generated; after multiple such collisions, an electron output of 10⁴~10⁵ times is achieved, thereby enhancing weak electrical signals.
