The BWT standard optical coupler is an inline fiber-to-fiber coupling device available with SMA905 or FC connectors. It features easy coupling and high coupling efficiency (≥90%) over a wide 600~1500nm wavelength range, supporting input/output fiber core diameters of 105/200μm, 200/400μm, etc. The brass, chrome-plated body houses SMA905 (CSM-xxx) or FC (CFC-xxx) interfaces, handling maximum CW input optical powers of 30W and 15W respectively, with overall lengths of 27±0.1mm and 23.5±0.1mm. Other wavelengths can be customized upon request. For optimal coupling, the fiber end-face reflection loss is neglected, NA(in) should be ≤NA(out), and coupling efficiency may vary between different mated fibers. Before laser operation, ensure that the side surfaces of the mated fiber connectors and the fiber end faces at both ends of the coupler are clean.
