PLC Optical Splitter
PLC optical splitters are devices based on quartz substrate material and planar optical waveguide technology. They are mainly used in passive optical network (PON) systems to distribute optical signals. As one of the most critical passive components in optical communication, HYC's PLC optical splitters are available in various channel configurations such as 1xN, 2xN, and MxN. Compared to FBT (fused biconical taper) splitters, PLC splitters offer advantages such as compact size, high reliability, and superior performance.
