1550 Laser ceilometer ATOM-CH1550-15K
The Atomsci laser ceilometer is a backscatter lidar based on Mie scattering. It uses TOF technology to monitor and analyze the intensity and travel time of backscattered light, accurately obtaining atmospheric backscatter profiles. It measures atmospheric parameters including aerosols, cloud height, cloud thickness, cloud cover, and vertical visibility.

This product uses a TO package. A bonded self-focusing lens ensures efficient coupling of the LD laser into the fiber. The pigtail terminates in a common FC/APC or FC/PC connector, compatible with most fiber adapters, fiber collimating lenses and fiber focusing lenses for convenient integration. Applications include laser ranging, laser sensing and lidar. Advantages include compact construction, high efficiency and long-term reliability. When using this LD laser series, identify the LD + and - pins correctly and strictly avoid excessive current. Short the + and - pins after use to prevent damage from ambient electrostatic discharge.
