Zero-order magnesium fluoride crystal waveplate
The magnesium fluoride crystal zero-order waveplate is a high-precision phase retarder using MgF2 crystal birefringence to control optical polarization accurately. Compared with multiple-order waveplates, its zero-order design provides a wider operating bandwidth and lower sensitivity to wavelength, temperature and incidence-angle changes. The magnesium fluoride crystal offers an extremely broad transmission range from deep UV to mid-IR, a high laser damage threshold and excellent physical and chemical stability. These properties suit high-power laser systems, precision optical measurement, spectral analysis and frontier scientific research, providing reliable polarization management in demanding environments.
