Hemispherical Lens
An optical dome has two concentric spherical surfaces and resembles a curved window, making good concentricity important. Domes are widely used in detectors and optical sensors. Sandi Optoelectronics supplies H-K9L, JGS1, sapphire and AR-coated optical-glass domes. It manufactures precision spherical, hyperhemispherical and special-shaped lenses. Surfaces can be customized to 10-5 tolerance grade, shapes to 0.2% of total area, and thickness variation within 0.01mm.
