Germanium Window
Germanium has a high refractive index. Single-crystal germanium transmits over 2-12um and is a common infrared crystal used in infrared imaging and spectroscopy systems. Ge has low absorption at 10.6um, making it suitable for CO2 laser lenses and windows.
