Calcium Fluoride Spherical Lens
Calcium fluoride has high transmission from ultraviolet to mid-infrared (250nm~7um), supporting prisms, windows and lenses. Some broadband applications require no coating. Low absorption and high laser damage threshold particularly suit excimer laser optics. We manufacture CaF2 optics from 3mm to 280mm, with surface quality 40-20 and flatness 1/10 lambda@633nm, provided lens diameter and thickness are correctly proportioned.
