Non Polarization Beamsplitter Cube (NPBS Cube) Product Attributes
Non Polarization Beamsplitter Cube ( NBPS Cube ) consists of a pair of precision high tolerance right angle prisms cemented together with a metallic-dielectric coating on the hypotenuse of one of the Optical prisms. The low polarization dependence of the metallic-dielectric coating allows the transmission and reflection for S - polarization and P - polarization states to be within 5% of each other. This Beamsplitter means that they will not change the state of polarization of the incident beam. Non Polarization Beam splitter ( NPBS ) is similar to Polarizing Beam Splitter ( PBS ), and the features of Polarizing Optic NPBS are as follows: Low polarization dependence; Low power application; Not change the state of polarization of the incident beam.

The high-power polarizing beamsplitter cube comprises two precision UV-fused-silica right-angle prisms with special coatings on their hypotenuse faces, bonded together. It splits arbitrary incident light into perpendicular linearly polarized beams: all P polarization transmits along the incident direction, while all S polarization reflects perpendicularly. Custom Tp:Ts ratios greater than 1000:1, 2000:1 or 5000:1 are available. Special bonding replaces conventional optical cementing to meet laser and cutting requirements. Extremely high temperature resistance and strong laser resistance are key features. Typical laser wavelengths are 266, 355, 450, 532, 633, 760, 767, 780, 808, 905, 1064 and 1550 nm. Laser damage threshold reaches 15J/cm2@1064nm, 20ns, 20HZ.
