Flare Flare-250
Flare is a multipass amplifier for energy upgrades of Ti:sapphire systems. Combined with an existing 10 Hz-1 kHz femtosecond front end, it boosts pulse energy from the mJ level to 50 mJ-1000 mJ. Good compatibility and multiple energy options support system upgrades. A distinctive mirror-folded multipass design improves thermal management and reduces size to 1/2 of conventional systems. An ultrafast Pockels-cell module provides nanosecond contrast better than 10^6, while cross-polarized-wave technology raises picosecond contrast to 10^10. Optional deformable mirrors correct wavefront distortion for high energy and beam quality. Combined with Chameleon harmonic generation, Flare provides second- and third-harmonic output.
