(PRIP-80) Fiber Preform Refractive Index Tester
The PRIP-80 fiber preform refractive-index profiler uses a vertical design to let fiber manufacturers automatically position preforms and rapidly characterize the refractive-index profile of the entire preform. Collected index data can calculate geometrical parameters such as core-rod diameter, silica-rod outer diameter and concentricity. The PRIP-80 is particularly suitable for specialty fiber preforms.
