40G QSFP+ Optical Module VQS(D)-AGCLRD
Visint 40G QSFP+ modules comply with QSFP+MSA SFF-8436 and IEEE 802.3ba, with aggregate rates up to 41.25Gb/s. They feature low power consumption, compact size and high speed. Multimode modules use 4-channel 10.3125Gbps VCSEL transmitter arrays and 4 PIN detector receivers, reaching 300M over OM3 and 400M over OM4 multimode fiber. Single-mode modules convert 4 channels at 10.3125Gbps into 4 CWDM optical channels using DFB laser arrays, multiplexing them into a 41.25Gbps output over SMF. The receiver accepts 41.25Gbps input and separates it into 4 CWDM 10.3125Gbps channels received by PIN detectors, with reach up to 40KM. Applications include switches, routers, data centers and other Ethernet equipment.

A bail latch permits easy module removal and complies with the SFP MSA. A single +3.3V supply powers operation at case temperatures of 0°C to +70°C commercially or -40°C to +85°C industrially. The metal case protects against electromagnetic interference.
