NPC-F Fiber Polarization Controller
The controller contains a rotatable fiber squeezer and two fiber clamps. Mechanical squeezing induces stress birefringence in single-mode (SM) fiber, acting as a variable rotating waveplate. Polarization angle and retardance adjust continuously and independently to convert any input polarization into the desired output state.
