Polarization-Diversity All-Polarization-Maintaining Fully Integrated DAS Optical Module
Based on a mature, typical distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) architecture, the DAS-AOM-L series uses a polarization-maintaining ultranarrow-linewidth laser as its core component and an optimized optomechanical and electrical design. Operating parameters are configurable through a serial port. Features include high integration, strong environmental immunity, compact size and convenient operation. A heterodyne coherent receiver with two integrated balanced detectors simultaneously and independently detects signals in two polarization states in the sensing fiber. This effectively suppresses polarization fading in distributed fiber sensing, increases signal-to-noise ratio and extends sensing range. Customized architectures and specifications are available to sensor equipment manufacturers.
