Rhomboid prism (RP0020)
Rhomboid Prism can displace a laser beam without changing the image orientation. The input beam undergoes total internal reflection at two 45-degree surfaces and exits from the output surface, thereby producing a lateral displacement. AR coating on the input and output surfaces achieves higher transmittance; rhomboid prisms are commonly used in stereo vision systems and periscope systems. Currently, we can achieve an angular tolerance of <5″, a total beam deviation of <30 arcseconds, and larger sizes are also available.
