Pentaprisms (BTP0203)
A pentaprism is a five-sided optical prism with two refracting surfaces and two reflecting surfaces. It can accurately deflect light by 90 degrees without being affected by slight changes in the angle of incidence; pentaprisms are widely used in optical instruments such as rangefinders and sights, ensuring precise optical path deflection and thereby improving instrument accuracy. It is a key component for precise optical path adjustment in optical systems.
