Plano-concave Axicon Lens
A plano-concave axicon is composed of a plane combined with a concave conical surface. They are made of transparent or filter material, with the opposite side polished, and the edges ground and chamfered. The concave axicon produces a ring image along the axis from a point source. Due to the particularity of the manufacturing process, a hole needs to be made in the center of the concave surface. The diameter of the hole is generally 1 mm.
