JW3302T OTDR Optical Time Domain Reflectometer
The JW3302T OTDR adopts a 5.6-inch capacitive full touchscreen and integrates a wavelength-division optical power meter, OPM, optical power meter, automatic OTDR, expert OTDR, event map, end status check, stable light source, RJ45 cable tracing, red light source, multi-core testing, file management, and intelligent diagnosis support: 1:32/1:64 splitter testing, end-face inspection, loss, and system settings including eight-language switching, etc. The OTDR has a maximum dynamic range of 45dB and can achieve accurate testing up to over 180 km. It supports up to four wavelengths 1310/1550/850/1300nm. Live-light test wavelengths 1310/1550/1625nm. The minimum event dead zone is 0.8m, and the maximum sampling resolution is 2.5cm. The OTDR is equipped with a 5200mAh high-density large-capacity polymer lithium battery, intelligent power-saving management, and is powered/charged by a mobile power supply. The JW3302T can be used to measure parameters such as the length, loss, and connection quality of various optical fibers and cables. It is widely used in engineering construction, line maintenance, and emergency rescue testing of FTTH, metropolitan area networks, and secondary backbone communication systems, as well as in the development and production measurement of optical fibers and cables.

1. Detects the route and burial depth of underground optical/electrical cables. With a signal applied to cable conductors, effective detection distance is >25 kilometers at burial depths ≤1.5 meters and >10 kilometers at depths ≤2.5 meters, with horizontal position error ≤5 centimeters. 2. Detects the route and depth of underground metal pipelines, including oil, steam and water pipes. A signal applied to the pipeline or cable lead sheath gives an effective range >1000 meters. In the absence of strong magnetic interference, effective detection depth is 3 meters within a distance of 200 meters and 2.5 meters within 600 meters. 3. With a measuring probe, or grounding probe, it locates insulation faults to ground in underground plastic-jacketed optical/electrical cables. It can find leakage faults with resistance <0.5 megohms within 15 kilometers.
