MPM-400AR
The MPM-400AR™ is a dual-port 400G QSFP-DD PAM4 multi-protocol test module based on a programmable native PAM4 FPGA design, compatible with the MPA modular test platform. It provides up to 800G throughput and supports synchronous, independent multi-port testing from 400Gbps down to 10Mbps, meeting the high-capacity testing needs of the next-generation PAM4 Ethernet/transport market.

1. Detects the route and burial depth of underground optical/electrical cables. With a signal applied to cable conductors, effective detection distance is >25 kilometers at burial depths ≤1.5 meters and >10 kilometers at depths ≤2.5 meters, with horizontal position error ≤5 centimeters. 2. Detects the route and depth of underground metal pipelines, including oil, steam and water pipes. A signal applied to the pipeline or cable lead sheath gives an effective range >1000 meters. In the absence of strong magnetic interference, effective detection depth is 3 meters within a distance of 200 meters and 2.5 meters within 600 meters. 3. With a measuring probe, or grounding probe, it locates insulation faults to ground in underground plastic-jacketed optical/electrical cables. It can find leakage faults with resistance <0.5 megohms within 15 kilometers.

Multitasking: While measuring one fiber by OTDR, users can inspect another fiber's optical power and connector end face. Dual controls allow tapping, swiping, zooming and pressing on an 8.4-inch high-resolution capacitive multitouch display, or any preferred hard-key combination. Startup takes no more than 10 seconds; new high-speed hardware and efficient software ready AQ7280 within seconds. Smart Mapper: One button measures with multiple pulse widths; intelligent algorithms identify and describe line events in an icon view.
